We are all fans of pupusas no matter what they are done, cheese, beans, pork we all love them. However, these delicious Salvadorean dish has two main ingredients rice and corn, most people prefer them of rice and others prefer corn, furthermore, both have their own taste. So in this composition, I tend to utter the differences between both of them.

First, Rice pupusas are in a way the most preferred ones, I have heard a lot of friends and relatives that say these pupusas are the better ones.  This type of mass has a different preparation, many people prepare it adding hot water, and mixing it with salt until the consistency is easy to manipulate if you are not careful with the amount of water you add you might ruin your mass because it will be very liquid or solid as a rock and both of this are not useful to make pupusas. Rice pupusas cooked faster than the ones made by corn.

Second, corn pupusas are the easiest ones to do. This mass is not as delicate as the other one, and for its preparation, you just only have to add water, environment temperature water. Next, you just have to mix it well and that will be all, the mass is ready for making pupusas. The consistency of this mass is a bit rough not as soft as the rice ones.


Finally, Salvadorean pupusas as said before are done of rice and corn them this type of mass is mixed with other ingredients: cheese, pork, beans, chicken, etc. Pupusas are eaten either with curtido or tomato sauce. No matter how you prefer them pupusas are always the most delicious food for all Salvadorean people.
